Joel Embiid made his long-awaited debut for the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, and it is fair to say that Embiid lived up to the hype that had built over the previous two years.

In his first real basketball game in over two years, Embiid dropped 20 points, showed himself to be a defensive anchor and a beyond-solid rebounder, and also unveiled a wide-ranging offensive arsenal.
