There are few coaches who know exactly how to beat the Seattle Seahawks.

49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman is one of them.

Roman's 49ers beat the Seahawks 19-17 in week 14 of the NFL season. Although Roman couldn't solve the Seahawks defense the two other times they played, once in the NFC Championship game, he has a blueprint.

"You can't turn the ball over and you have come up with big plays," Roman said.

Roman is a Ventnor, NJ native and spent time with Holy Spirit High School before jumping ship to the college and NFL game.

Roman has also been a hot candidate for a head coaching job the past two seasons interviewing for jobs with the Vikings, Redskins and Penn State. But due to his success on the field many opportunities have come and gone because Roman is busy preparing for playoff games.

"It'll come," Roman simply said about his head coaching opportunities.

It should come for Roman if he has patience, his 49ers team has made three straight trips to the NFC Championship game.
