Odubel Herrera was the Phillies' lone All-Star in 2016 in his second Major League season.  The Phillies' 2014 Rule 5 Draft Pick has improved every aspect of his game as a hitter from power to plate discipline which has solidified his standing not just as Philadelphia's Center Fielder but one of the best in the National League.

Phillies Beat Writer Ryan Lawrence joined The Sports Bash on Wednesday and talked about Herrera's development into the Phillies' Center Fielder of today AND tomorrow:

"He’s had a pretty good year – he’s hitting .300, his on-base percentage is right (under) .390.  He already has more Home Runs than he had last year, already has more Walks than he had last year.  He’s developing as a hitter in a positive way....I would just say he is their Center Fielder of the future until somebody else proves otherwise."

Checkout what Lawrence had to say about what we to expect from the Phillies in the second half of the season along with who could be moved at the MLB Trade Deadline
