New Jersey’s Commute May Get Better If Googly Eyes Are Added To NJ Transit Trains
One thing most of us can agree on is that your daily commute isn't exactly fun, especially if you're using public transportation.
Nothing against NJ Transit by the way, my wife and I use NJ Transit all the time taking a bus to New York City, or just grabbing the train from Bayhead up to Asbury.

But having to wait at a terminal for your ride, hoping there's a place for you to sit, and then hoping that everything is running on schedule can be a pain.
So why wouldn't we want to make that commute a little more?

According to Hoboken Girl, a group of New Jersey train enthusiasts is pushing to put Googly Eyes on some or all NJ Transit trains to make everyone's daily commute a little more fun.
The petition by Googly Eye NJ stated that if the state agreed to the petition, they'd pay for the Googly Eyes and the whole thing would be at no cost to taxpayers.
It's not the first time googly eyes and trains have been in the news
A few months ago a similar petition was circling around train enthusiast groups in Boston, and the the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority actually followed through and put googly eyes on their trains.
I mean seriously, how much fun would it be to be waiting for your train at Hamilton Station or Newark-Penn only to see your train come barreling down the tunnel with some big googly eyes swaying in every direction, it would be so much fun!
As of now, the petition to add googly eyes to NJ Transit trains has just shy of its 250 signature goal, you can sign the petition right here.
