7 Things That Annoy Every New Jerseyan, But We Still Love It Here

Come on New Jersey, you know we have a lot to complain about. But, sarcastically we have absolutely nothing to complain about. New Jersey is the best state.

New Jersey is not perfect, but it's pretty great. I've said it before I love living, working and playing in New Jersey.

Many people and friends of mine say there are better places to live in than New Jersey, but many people can be wrong.

I am a huge cheerleader for New Jersey, but of course, just like anywhere THINGS can be annoying to us living in New Jersey and especially here at the Jersey Shore.

Summer in New Jersey Means One Thing: Endless Traffic

#1 - Summer Traffic - We know once Memorial Day is here, we are sitting in traffic on the GSP longer than we usually do. Rt. 72, 37, 70, 34, and more New Jersey roads heading to the beach. Our roads are crazy throughout the year with all the building that's happening in our towns, but summertime is the worst.

#2 - Referring to Us as the Armpit of America - What? This one, I just want to stand up and cheer for New Jersey. You know what I'm thinking, "We don't like you either." I hate when I hear this. We are beautiful, New Jersey - remember that.

#3 - Are you from "JOISEY"? - Ridiculous, no one in New Jersey talks like that. NO ONE!

#4 - Calling Pork Roll, Taylor Ham - NO it's pork roll. This is the ongoing debate of everybody here in the Garden State. It's pork roll. North Jerseyans do tend to call it Taylor Ham, but you know it's pork roll.

#5 - We don't know the crew of the "Jersey Shore" - Ok, maybe we have met the crew and I've met Snookie several times, but we don't know them.

#6 - Cost of living - Our taxes are especially high in this state, it's annoying. Pennsylvania taxes are creeping up in cost, too.

#7 - Let's talk about Exit 82 on the Garden State Parkway - It's just plain scary getting on and off this exit. Especially, coming off of Exit 82 onto the GSP. It's crazy. Something needs to be done.
