TSA officials are cracking down on a common tech item at NJ airports. Don’t pack this device in your suitcase or you may lose it at the checkpoint.
It's travel season here in New Jersey, or at least soon. Summer break will be here before we know it.
We have three airports in New Jersey, with Newark being the busiest. Annual passengers that pass through that airport well over 40 million happy travelers excited for their next vacation.
Personally, I like flying from Atlantic City Airport, it's smaller and is quicker to catch a flight.

And, of course we need our phones and smartphones for our trip. They are essential for our trips. From the phone to the boarding passes and money for paying for food at the airport, I have ten thousand things in my hand when they're asking for my license going through the TSA check.

TSA’s New Ban: Why Rechargeable Power Banks Are Not Allowed in Checked Bags
This might be a little different for you, but DO NOT PACK YOUR RECHARGEABLE POWER BANK in your CHECKED BAGS. If your suitcase is being checked and they find one of these rechargeable power banks, they will pull it and throw it away. These are NOT allowed in CHECKED BAGS, especially because many of them contain a lithium battery.
According to the TSA’s website. The Federal Aviation Administration explains: "All lithium ion batteries are capable of overheating and undergoing a process called thermal runaway. Thermal runaway can occur without warning as a result of various factors, including if the battery is damaged, overheated, exposed to water, overcharged, or improperly packed."
