Two teens tried robbing several stores at a mall in South Jersey but got caught red-handed instead.
Teens Break Into Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing, NJ
The Hamilton Township Police Department says their officers responded to Hamilton Mall on the Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing at about 2:45 early Wednesday morning after they received a burglar alarm call.
Upon arrival, officers found a 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old female, both from Mays Landing, inside the mall wearing ski masks and carrying large bags full of stolen items.

The duo attempted to flee on foot but were apprehended by officers who recovered stolen merchandise from "many stores."
Both juveniles were arrested and charged with resisting arrest as well as multiple counts of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief. They were released to their guardians pending court.
