Disqualification Letter Sent By State Against Atlantic City Mayor
I have confirmed the existence of a e-Mail communication that was generated by Anastasia Taboada, a Management Specialist, from the Atlantic County Office of the New Jersey Department of Education.
The Letter Reads

Indictment Of Marty & La’Quetta Small — In The Words Of The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office
On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Marty Small, Sr., (then) 50, and his wife, La Quetta Small, (then) 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault. It is alleged that during the months of December 2023 and January 2024, the defendants physically and emotionally abused their 15/16-year-old-daughter on multiple occasions. During one incident, on January 13, 2024, Marty Small, Sr. is alleged to have hit his daughter multiple times in the head with a broom causing her to lose consciousness, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Did The State Of New Jersey Send An Identical E-Mail To The Atlantic City Board Of Education About La’Quetta Small?
It would appear to be inconceivable that the state of New Jersey would send an e-Mail communication of disqualification regarding Marty Small, who had long since left his employment as a recreation director with a private school.
Yet, La’Quetta Small is the current and still active Atlantic City Superintendent of Public Schools.
Is the Atlantic City Board of Education hiding the existence of a disqualification letter for La’Quetta Small?
I Interviewed A New Jersey Education Leader
NOTE: I promised to protect this person’s identity. i was told the following:
You've got a high value item there.
It's a coverup in Atlantic City by someone. Here is my guess. The ACBOE, the Superintendent and their HR person would've received the letter. The Superintendent's contract has a self-reporting clause, and the county worker has a copy of all Superintendent contracts. The county office worker who sent that is longer with the county. It appears to be a total cover-up of her (La’Quetta Small’s) disqualification, said our education source.
If The State of New Jersey Did Not Send A Disqualification E-Mail For La’Quetta Small — Why Not?
I’m calling on the state of New Jersey and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office to investigate exactly what is going on here.
Although for still unknown reasons, the state of New Jersey knows exactly what is going on here and they have sanctioned it every step of the way. It’s disgraceful.
