Man Dies After Crash in Franklin Township
Authorities in Gloucester County say a man died following a crash Saturday evening when he was ejected through his vehicle's sunroof.
The accident happened around 7:50 on the 800 block of Marshall Mill Road in Franklin Township.
Victim Information
Cops arriving at the scene found a 27-year-old man from Malaga with life-threatening injuries.
He was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he later died.
Police Investigation
The Franklin Township Police Department says a preliminary investigation found that the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Marshall Mill Road and when the driver attempted to negotiate a curve, he lost control.
The vehicle left the road, went into a field, overturned several times due to the soft soil, and stopped about 326 feet away.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle through its sunroof.
No other people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
