Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, man with major head injuries following UTV crash
A man from Egg Harbor Township was last reported to be in critical condition following a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) accident Wednesday evening.
The incident happened just after 6 PM along Dogwood Avenue between Winnipeg and Alder Avenues.
According to the Egg Harbor Township Police Department, a 2015 Polaris Ranger UTV operated by 21-year-old Juan Hernandez-Agabo of EHT was traveling westbound on Dogwood Avenue. As the UTV approached the area of 316 Dogwood, Hernandez-Agabo lost control of his vehicle, causing it to overturn and eject him onto the roadway.
Hernandez-Agabo, who was the only person riding the vehicle, sustained major head injuries and CPR was administered at the scene by bystanders and responding police officers.
He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division Trauma Center for treatment and was last reported to be in critical condition.
Dogwood Avenue in the area of the crash was closed for approximately three hours.
