New Leader In A Very Close Race For Governor of New Jersey
He has been very close in many polls over the years … however, Jack Ciattarelli has never led in one poll for Governor of New Jersey … until now.
In the latest National Research survey, Ciattarelli leads Democrat Nominee Mikie Sherrill 47 percent to 46 percent in the race for Governor of New Jersey.
The survey of 600 likely voters was conducted between September 15-18, 2025.
The margin of error is +/- 4%, which means the race for Governor of New Jersey is literally a margin of error race.
The immediate past National Research survey showed Sherrill with a 2-point lead over Ciattarelli.
The fact that it is a likely model sampling is significant. Likely voter models are the only polls that should ever be discussed.
Why would a poll of unlikely voters matter?
Earlier Polls Had Ciattarelli Trailing By More Than 20 Points
Such as an early Rutgers — Eagleton Poll, which always had the appearance as an outlier.
Ciattarelli has closed the perceived gap every week of the General Election campaign.
New Jersey Electric Bills Have Tripled & Voters Are Not Pleased
Mikie Sherrill has preposterously attempted to blame President Donald Trump … and, by extension, Jack Ciattarelli.
It’s not a credible accusation and no one is buying it.
Believe It Or Not — Mikie Sherrill Really Said This …
We need to move into clean power. It’s gonna cost you an arm and a leg, but if you're a good person you'll do it, said Mikie Sherrill.
This is one of the most bizarre and likely disqualifying statements ever made by an elected official and candidate for Governor of New Jersey.
The Candidates Had Their First Debate Last Night At Rider University
Debating is a major strength for Ciattarelli, and, a significant weakness for Sherrill.
About last night’s debate, Ciattarelli said the following on his social media page:
Tonight, we declared VICTORY in the first debate.
I came prepared with a detailed plan to fix New Jersey, with real answers to our state's toughest challenges, and the readiness to get to work on Day One fighting for every New Jerseyan. I am more determined than ever to deliver change:
- Lower our taxes
- Make our communities safer
- Fix our schools
- Make New Jersey affordable again
Meanwhile, my opponent spent the night blaming everything on President Trump, dodging questions, and refusing to give voters a straight answer. When asked if she'd lower taxes, her response was: "I'm not going to commit to anything.” That's not leadership - that's doubling down on failure, said Ciattarelli.
