Over the past week, three federal cases in New Jersey involving child sexual exploitation have made headlines. The defendants in those cases now each potentially face decades in prison.

Essex County Man Pleads Guilty to Producing Child Porn

Late last week, an Essex County man admitted to online enticement and exploitation of minors.

29-year-old Abdur-Razzaaq Henderson of East Orange pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography and one count of possessing prepubescent child pornography.

Federal authorities say in 2023, Henderson texted two different minors located outside of New Jersey. On both occasions, at Henderson's request, those children created and texted him videos of themselves engaging in explicit conduct. Authorities say Henderson also discussed sexually assaulting a younger sibling with the second minor.

In March 2024, law enforcement found Henderson with a cell phone that contained multiple child porn videos.

In his plea agreement, Henderson also accepted responsibility for enticing seven other youths to make sexually explicit material.

He could face 30 years or more in prison and fines exceeding $250,000 when sentenced.

Former Teacher from Union County Sentenced

A former teacher from Union County has been sentenced to 78 months, or 6 1/2 years, in prison.

27-year-old Jack Wilder of Somerville had previously pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

In July 2024, when Wilder was a teacher at a school in Plainfield, NJ, law enforcement searched his cell phone and found child porn. Then, in May 2025, when law enforcement arrested him, they found additional child porn files that he had received on a second cell phone.

PA Man Admits To Possessing Child Porn

A Pennsylvania man has admitted to possessing images of child sexual abuse.

Last week, 53-year-old Edwin Isaacson IV of Matamoras, PA, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography.

According to court records, on April 23rd, 2025, Isaacson was found at Newark Liberty International Airport after arriving on an inbound international flight in possession of at least 28 videos of prepubescent minors engaged in sexual conduct.

When he is sentenced in June, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

All three cases were brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse launched by the Department of Justice.
