
No ‘Small’ Feat: Indicted Atlantic City, NJ Mayor Wins Election
You have to give credit, where credit is due. Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small stands criminally charged with awful child abuse and witness tampering allegations.
That’s certainly not the good news.
Yet, all of the Small bad news had absolutely no negative impact whatsoever … as Small cruised to win the Democrat Nomination for Mayor of Atlantic City by at least 1,000 votes.
Small also carried his three Atlantic City council at large candidates to victory as well yesterday in the Democrat primary.
As of this moment, Small defeated Bob McDevitt by a margin of 2,683 to 1,580. These total will change of the next several days, but, the outcome will not change.
Small Goes into General Election Facing Criminal Indictment
Both Marty and La’Quetta Small face a fast-approaching trial before The Honorable New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury.
The Small’s face a variety of child abuse charges. Marty Small was indicted by a second Atlantic County Grand Jury for alleged witness tampering.
The trial is presently set to begin during the month of July, 2025, however, The Small’s have filed a motion to try and have their case split from one another. This will likely delay the start of their trial.
General Election Day
Is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Small will face Naeem Khan, the Republican Nominee.
Also on the ballot are candidates running for the Mew Jersey General Assembly, County Surrogate, County Commissioner and various local races.
