Jackson: There Is Still Some Growing Pains With Sixers
Heading into their matchup with the Toronto Raptors on Thursday Night, the 76ers are 2-7 in the month of December while losing nine of their last twelve games. The Sixers lead the NBA in Turnovers Per Game this season (17.5) and are 22nd in Three Point Shooting Percentage (53.3%); only two players have played in 29 of 30 games this season, Ben Simmons and Dario Saric being the only players who have not missed multiple games this for the 76ers so far in the 2017-18 season.
NBC Sports Philadelphia Pre/Post Game Sixers Analyst and former NBA Center Marc Jackson joined The Sports Bash on Thursday discussing the team's recent struggles and inconsistent play:
"There is still some growing pains (with Sixers) - I don’t want to be generic and say that but they have so many people in and out of the lineup with minor injuries and miss one game here and two games there, and you know your losses pile up when you don’t have one or two of your main guys. And they don’t even have to be a main piece but you know, just throwing that chemistry through a loop hole....I think they mentally are not there, they are good team yet they need to prepare themselves mentally for the real game. They are not all in the whole game, that means that they are going to take teams for granted."
