Sacred Heart center Kennedy Johnson claimed the top spot in our latest 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week vote. The junior scored 19 points, pulled down 15 rebounds and swatted away 10 shot attempts in a 42-30 win over Wildwood Catholic.

She collected 48 percent of the final vote, just ahead of Holy Spirit senior Gina Lewis. Lewis, who is Johnson's cousin, received 44 percent of the vote after draining a game-winning jump shot with two second to play in the Cape-Atlantic League championship game.

Lewis and Johnson both joined us in studio on High School Hoops Tonight (6 p.m. Thursdays) to discuss their family rivalry and CAL success. Listen to the discussion here.

District champion wrestlers Tom Gattinella (St. Augustine) and Billy Ward (Millville) followed next in poll results.

Johnson leads the Lions into a Monday night playoff matchup against Gill St. Bernard's. Winner advances to the South Jersey Non-Public B championship game on Wednesday.
