Phillies Stars Lead them to NLCS while Eagles stay Undefeated
The Philadelphia Phillies eliminated the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night for the second year in a row to advance to the National League Championship Series. Nick Castellanos became the first player in MLB Postseason History to hit two Home Runs in two consecutive games. Trea Turner also provided power in the Game 4 win while starting pitcher Ranger Suarez found ways to shut down the powerful Braves lineup. The Phillies fans continue to energize this team in a way that no other city in the league can compare: Citizens Bank Park has the highest postseason winning percentage of any venue in MLB at .703 (26-11). The Phillies faithful stood cheering the entire game and the players fed off it. The Phillies advance to the NLCS and welcome the Arizona Diamondbacks to Citizens Bank Park on Monday, you can hear the game on 973 ESPN South Jersey, first pitch scheduled for 8:07 pm.
The Philadelphia Eagles refuse to take the backseat to "Red October" and continued their winning ways by beating the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday. Dallas Goedert finally got involved in the offense catching eight passes for 117 yards and a Touchdown.
