Sixers Open Discussions with Ben Simmons on Extension
After a wild first day of NBA free agency, the Sixers remain focused on working on a contract extension for Ben Simmons, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
He is eligible for a rookie-max extension, and while this is an expected move, things can always go sideways when it comes to dealing with Simmons agent, Rich Paul.
Simmons averaged nearly 17 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in his second pro season with the Sixers.
