The Eagles have hired a new running back coach to replace Duce Staley.

Former Eagles running back coach Duce Staley asked out of his contract, his wish was granted, and he has already landed a new gig.

The 45-year old was a third-round pick by the Eagles, and has coached with three different head coaches in Philadelphia, Andy Reid, Chip Kelly and Doug Pederson.

Sirianni was one of at least 10 candidates to interview for the position, a list that also included current Eagles running backs coach/assistant head coach Duce Staley.

Duce Staley is a fan favorite. Josh McDaniels might be the betting favorite. One name to keep an eye on is Colts offensive coordinator, Nick Sirianni.
