Senior linebacker and running back Ernest Howard had a tremendous year for Pleasantville, but more importantly he emerged as a team leader during a difficult time after a shooting that took place when the Greyhounds faced Camden in the state playoffs
He rushed for nearly 500 yards and nine touchdowns as a running back and part-time quarterback, had nearly 100 receiving yards and was one of the team’s leading tacklers as a middle linebacker.
