The was no high school baseball this season, but that didn't stop Ocean City left-handed pitcher Jake McKenna from landing a deal with the Philadelphia Phillies.
Reacting to a decision by Rutgers University, the NJSIAA announced Wednesday its Boys Basketball Group Finals on Sunday will move to Phillipsburg High School, that deal has fell through, leaving them looking for a new home.
Ocean City (22-8) advances to the Group 3 state semifinals at 5 p.m. on Thursday at Deptford High School, where the Red Raiders will face Central Jersey champion Westampton Tech, a 61-53 winner over Neptune.
