Sam Hinkie

Sixers fans have expressed some concern with the abrupt resignation of Sam Hinkie, coupled with the expected hiring of Bryan Colangelo that Brett Brown's job could be in trouble and current associate head coach Mike D'Antoni would be next in line.

As the dust settles from the Sam Hinkie resignation, how did we get here?  According to CSN Philly's John Gonzalez the issue starts with Sixers' ownership:

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reports that when Sam Hinkie emailed his resignation letter on Wednesday to Sixers ownership, he included 12 majority and minority owners, and Jerry Colangelo.  Sources tell Wojnarowski that Hinkie suspects it was Colangelo who leaked the 13 page letter to the media...
