Busy Week with Philadelphia Sports HOF and Eagles vs Cowboys

On Thursday night I had the opportunity to attend the induction ceremony for the Class of 2023 for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.  The event was held at the Live Casino and Event Center where the inductees included Bernard Hopkins, Bill Giles, Carlos Ruiz, Jay Wright, and Jeremiah Trotter just to name a few.  It was a Who’s Who of high-profile Philadelphia Sports stars from over the years.  You can hear my interviews with some of the inductees on Saturday's edition of The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.

I did not forget that it is Dallas week!  The Eagles host the most hated team for Birds fans, the Cowboys are coming to Lincoln Financial Field this Sunday, Kickoff is at 4:25 and you can hear all the action on 97.3 ESPN Radio with Merrill Reese and Mike Quick.  The Eagles are 7-1 and can increase the lead in the NFC East with a win over the 5-2 Cowboys.  Is the rivalry as intense as ever or are the Cowboys just another team on the schedule?  After being torched by Sam Howell with 4 Touchdown Passes last week, can the Eagles defensive secondary stop Dak Prescott and The Boys?
