On Wednesday evening, February 14th, the Wings hosted an event at Kick Axe Philly, to raise money for their charities. Amidst the spirited atmosphere, I had the privilege of catching up with Taggart Clark and Jackson Ganton, some of the members of the team, to discuss the significance of such engagements with fans and the team's commitment to giving back to the community.

Embracing the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant fabric of Philadelphia, Clark and Ganton, along with their teammates have seized the chances to partake in various community-driven endeavors since their arrival in the city earlier this year. From their heartwarming visit to the Philly goat farm to their latest escapade at Kick Axe Philadelphia, the Wings have not only endeavored to make a positive impact but have also found themselves strengthening the bonds within the team. Clark emphasizes the transformative power of such experiences in fostering camaraderie among teammates. "I definitely know these guys a lot better than what I did a few months ago”.

Joining in on the enthusiasm, Jackson Ganton expressed his anticipation for the evening's festivities, highlighting the joy of connecting with fans while championing a noble cause. "I’m pumped, it's gonna be a great time," Ganton exclaimed, embodying the collective sentiment of the team as they eagerly anticipated the chance to engage in friendly competition alongside their supporters.

For the Philadelphia Wings, events like these serve as a testament to their dedication not only to the sport but also to the community that has embraced them with open arms
