According to a CSN Philly report, Eagles running back Darren Sproles "appears likely" to play Week eight against the Cardinals.

Sproles says he "felt pretty good" at Tuesday's practice.

The return of Sporles would be a huge boost for the Eagles offense which will face the top rush defense in the NFL - Arizona allows just 72.5 yards per game.  Against this type of stout run defense, using Sproles out-of-the-backfield and on screen plays could open up some shots down the field for NIck Foles.

Last season in the win over Arizona in Philly, Nick Foles passed for three touchdowns and no interceptions.  The Eagles took care of the ball, using Zach Ertz and LeSean McCoy effectively out-of-the-backfield, adding Sproles to the mix could be a big difference maker.
