The 76ers appear to have made the turn from Rebuilding team to Up and Coming team as they are 9-3 in the month of January and are now 4.5 games out of the number eight playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  While the recent winning excites many Philly Sports fans, there are those Sixers fans who are worried that this will take them out of range to get another elite prospect in the NBA Draft Lottery which will hurt the franchise in the long run.

Chris Mannix of NBC Sports Radio and The Vertical joined Mike Gill on Thursday and gave his perspective on the Sixers moving forward:

"You're not overly concerned with losing to get more ping pong balls at this point, you want to win and certainly there are trades that still need to be made.  I was speaking with a couple of NBA executives last night who are still kind of sniffing around Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel, seeing what the offers might be to get to get one of those guys.  But when you're Philly and you got five guys averaging in double figures, Dario Saric and Gerald Henderson right behind them, you're getting good, balanced offensive production and that's exactly what you want with this team.  I give Brett Brown a ton of credit, I mean to survive what he survived over the last few years and now have this team headed in this direction, that's pretty impressive I think."
