Eagles President Don Smolenski joined a Philadelphia radio station this morning, and discussed how the organization was considering bringing back the fan favorite Kelly Green uniforms.

From CBS Philly: “We have talked about it and there are some rules with the NFL that provides some restrictions that we’re trying to work through, but that’s going to take some time. It’s there, and it’s something that we do talk about, but until some things change at the NFL level it’s going to provide restrictions for us. It is being talked about it, yes.”

The Eagles changed their logo and went to a darker shade of green back in 1996. Though the "mid-night green" uniforms symbolize a successful era of Eagles football, that saw multiple NFC East titles, playoff appearances, and the franchises first Super Bowl appearance since 1980, switching back to the Kelly Greens would be a welcomed and refreshing change for Eagles fans everywhere!
