Eagles Fans Have Low Playoff Expectations For This Team

The wheels fell off the Eagles train in week thirteen after going 10-1 when they were blown out and humiliated by the 49ers 42-19 in front of their homefield fans in Philadelphia.  Losing four of their next five games and with several injuries, the Eagles fans are less than enthusiastic heading into their Wildcard Monday Night Playoff matchup in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers.

The Eagles beat the Bucs in week three at Tampa, a well-rounded 25-11 victory on Monday Night Football.  D’Andre Swift gashed the Bucs for 130 yards on the ground and A.J. Brown had 131 yards through the air.  All that is in the past because the Bucs won five of their last six games and their Quarterback Baker Mayfield has played well down the stretch.  We will have plenty to talk about with the Birds this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.  

On Saturday we have a loaded show.  Former Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Dave Klemic and Producer Nick Earnshaw join me in the studio.  We will talk Eagles Playoff Football through out the morning.  In Hour One, we will talk with the President of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association Mike Shute about their annual banquet being held on Wednesday night January 17th at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Cherry Hill.  Hour Two is Jam packed starting at 11 am we will hear from the Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan live from Las Vegas with his picks for NFL Wildcard Weekend.  Next, we will talk with Philadelphia Wings forward, number 41 Taggart Clark about playing Professional Lacrosse in Philly.  Plus we will be giving away three pairs of tickets to our listeners when they text in at 609-403-0973 for a chance to win tickets to Saturday’s game against Saskatchewan Rush, 7pm at the Wells Fargo Center.  Finally at 11:30am Keon Sabb who plays safety for College Football National Champion Michigan Wolverines.  Sabb, who Hails from Glassboro will share his story with us and what it was like to win the Championship. 

On Sunday’s show, Producer Danny Ryan and "The Intern” Andrew Leeds return to the studio after I was broadcasting on location for eighteen weeks Live at the Tropicana Atlantic City.  We will talk about Saturday’s NFL playoff results and get you ready for the Eagles vs Buccaneers wildcard playoff game on Monday Night.  Every Sunday we get the “Keys to the Game” with Fox 29 News Sports Anchor Scott Grayson brought to you by Blitz’s Market in Ocean City.  In Hour Two, we will talk with my Fantasy Football Guru Brian Hartley brought to you by Charlie's Bar in Somers Point.  "The Guru" will give us his plays for NFL Sunday Playoff games.
