The Eagles have requested to interview ex-Giants coach Tom Coughlin for their head-coaching vacancy. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the two sides will meet Monday, but says it will be "more of a feeling-out" than an interview.

Coughlin started his career in Philly as a wide receivers coach, and are doing their due-diligence by bringing the former Giants coach in, he knows the division well and could provide a lot of information and knowledge. The could be talking to Coughlin to get more information on Ben McAdoo, who met with the team on Thursday.

A two-time Super Bowl champion, Coughlin, resigned form the team after 12 years and four straight years without making the playoffs.

Coughlin turns 70 in August, but perhaps he could interest the Eagles, since he most likely wont want personnel control of the team. Coughlin has compiled a 169-146 record in his long coaching career, including a 102-90 mark with the Giants.
