The Eagles traded slot corner Brandon Boykin to the Steelers in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2016 draft which can become a fourth round pick based on Boykin's 2015 playing time in Pittsburgh.

Boykin was undervalued by Chip Kelly for his lack of size, with Nolan Carroll and Eric Rowe the nickel corner became expendable.

“To the city of Philadelphia it's been real,” Boykin tweeted. “You know I always played my heart out every time I hit the field. Always got Love for you.”
