Former Portland swing-man Gerald Henderson has signed with the 76ers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The deal is worth $18 million over two years for Henderson, 28, who averaged 8.7 points and 2.9 rebounds off the Trail Blazers' bench last season.

"I like the fact that Philly is bringing in these veteran players," Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders said on the Sports Bash. "I like his game a lot, at $9 million per year he is a steal, he's a two-way player who is very solid, very consistent"

The 12th overall pick in the 2009 draft, Henderson was primarily a starter during his six-year stint in Charlotte and is known to be a good wing defender.
