Joel Embiid Suffers ‘Minor Setback’ to Injured Foot
Last week we saw videos from the Sixers of Joel Embiid dunking between his legs, hitting turnaround jump shots reminiscent of Hakeem Olajuwon. Now Embiid is wearing a walking boot for protective reasons.
Embiid suffered a "minor setback" to his right foot. Embiid has been much more active recently in practice and has been doing work in layup lines with some work in pick-and-roll sets.
Embiid is scheduled to have a doctor visit, not sure if it was something that was already scheduled or if this has anything to do with wearing the boot.
