Eagles quarterback Michael Vick was at practice Thursday but has been ruled out for for week seven against the Cowboys.

"I'm not playing this week," Vick said. "Not this week, I want to get back out there, but I can't, I try to burst and run, I can't do it. Just hoping it's not a long time."

Vick suffered an injury to his hamstring during the first half of Philadelphia's victory over the Giants two weeks ago. While he hasn't missed practice this week, he has been limited for the past two weeks and now has admitted he can't go this week.

It's unclear if Vick will be active in the emergency capacity he was in week six.

"We've got to have a third [QB]," Kelly stated.  "So really kind of when we get towards later in the week, and some of those, like that decision with James last week wasn't made until Sunday.  But you've got to have at least an emergency guy if for some reason ‑‑ we wouldn't feel comfortable if we didn't have a third guy available for us."

Running back Chris Polk (shoulder), offensive tackle Jason Peters (shoulder) both did not practice on Wednesday but were back practicing fully on Thursday and should be good-to-go on Sunday.

Peters has been out the past few days after injuring his shoulder and finger. He returned fully on Thursday, and Chip Kelly said Thursday that his return has been encouraging, but that they are ready if he can't go.

"If Jason couldn't go," Kelly explained.  "But I don't anticipate that because he's going to practice again today, too, then Allen [Barbre] would go in in Jason's spot."

Other then Vick, the Eagles seem to be pretty healthy entering the Cowboys game against a very banged-up Dallas team.  Though in the history of the franchise no Eagles QB has had more success agsaint Dallas then Vick - his 111.4 quarterback rating is the highest among any Eagle QB versus Dallas, Foles at 91.1 is also on that list.

"It's going to be fun to watch," Vick said. "I look forward to watching Nick. I've had some great, great battles against the Dallas Cowboys. They were all fun. Nick will get the opportunity to go out there and experience that."
