Opening day for the Philadelphia Phillies is here, and so is their first 26-man active roster for the 2024 MLB season.

Once the team traded away Jake Cave, there was little suspense left with the roster other than two spots in the bullpen due to Dylan Covey (right shoulder strain), Orion Kerkering (right forearm strain) both will start the season on the 15-day injured list.

Those two spots go to right-handers Yunior Marte and Luis Ortiz, both of whom have big league experience with the Phillies.

With Cave traded, both Cristian Pache and Johan Rojas have made the team.
