Cody Parkey's performance in the Eagles' preseason win over the Jets Thursday was impressive, but will it be enough to ensure a roster spot with Philadelphia.

The Eagles reportedly will keep Parkey when they trim their roster to 53 players today, according to an NJ.com report by Eliot Shorr-Parks.

Parkey went 3-for-3 with two 50-plus yard field goals in the Eagles' final preseason game Thursday night, but that was his only body of work after being acquired from the Colts on August 20.

Because Alex Henery, who was a fourth-round draft pick back in 2011, has less than four years of experience, he will hit the waiver wire, and will become a free agent if he isn't claimed by another team.

Henery has never made a single field goal longer than 51 yards in his career,
