Danny Granger is a free man.

According to a report, the Sixers have reached an agreement with Danny Granger to buy out the rest of his contract, effectively making him a free agent. The cost of the buyout is unknown at this time.

David Aldrdige first reported the agreement.

It was rumored ever since the Sixers acquired Granger in exchange for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen that a buyout was possible.

Granger is now free to sign with any NBA team he chooses, the Spurs, Heat and Thunder are all mentioned as possibilities.

Granger now joins Andrew Bynum in recent memory to be Sixers property, yet never play in a single game for the team.

A press release should follow.
