Should We Be Assessing Blame For Embiid’s Injury?

We are all very disappointed about Joel Embiid’s latest injury.  Injuries are a part of the game but I have been critical about how often Embiid hits the floor.  In Fact, among my family and friends our nickname for Embiid is the “Human Mop”.  When a 7-2 big man hits the floor with regularity, eventually he’s going to get hurt.  But to blame the NBA, the coaches, team trainers, or the player himself is ridiculous.  Most players want to play and play hard.  It’s unfortunate and counterproductive that people are wasting time on wanting to point the finger instead of figuring out what is next for the 76ers and their superstar Big Man.
