The Philadelphia 76ers made a move at the trade deadline on Thursday afternoon.

The team has agreed to take part in a 3-way trade involving the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets.

In the trade, the Sixers will receive center Joel Anthony in addition to a second round pick.

In exchange for the two assets, the Sixers are sending the rights of Chukwudiebere Maduabum to the Rockets. The second round pick coming to Philadelphia is a second round selection from the Denver Nuggets.

Anthony, 33, has bounced around the NBA in his career after his time with LeBron James in Miami with the Heat. It is unknown if the Sixers will keep him around or just buy him out and keep the second round pick.

The move is not official.
