The Cape-Atlantic League baseball season is heating up with two of South Jersey's top teams facing off in Linwood.

St. Augustine Prep, who heads to Linwood at 12-4 with a 9-1 record in the America Division, will face Mainland who is 12-3 and 8-2 in the American.

They are two of the top teams in the area, with Mainland winning 4-1 on Monday in Richland. Mustangs right-hander Cohen Cook got the win on the mound in relief of Finn Haines on Monday against Hermits ace Matt Kouser.

Today the Hermits will send Jack McNamee to the mound, who has an outstanding 0.81 ERA this season in 8.2 innings pitched.. He will be opposed by Mainland right-hander Jake Lodgek, who has a ERA of 3.65 in 7.2 innings pitched this season.
