D’Angelo Russell is interviewing with the the Sixers today at the NBA Draft combine, reports Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Sixers will find out what pick or picks they have at the NBA draft lottery which will be held on Tuesday May 19th.

The combo guard told Pompey he prefers to play the point and also indicated that he would love to play for the Sixers.  Russell has excellent size for a guard, combine with his sweet shooting stroke, tremendous court vision and ball-handling and he could be a great pairing with Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel.

The Sixers interviewed arizona swing man Stanley Johnson on Wednesday.  One question about Johnson is what is his NBA position, is he a small forward, where he played in college or can he be a shooting guard.  The 6-8 Johnson could be an interesting prospect for the Sixers with his potential on the defensive end.  He's a physical player who could possibly guard up to three positions at the NBA level - something that might interest Brett Brown.
