Recently, The Goodwill store in Egg Harbor Township had a suspicious fire closing the store indefinitely.

While no one was injured. The fire remains under investigation - But all of the merchandise in the store was destroyed. The nonprofit organization is now making an appeal to the local community for help in rebuilding its inventory and The Sports Bash wants to help.

“Goodwill operates as an entrepreneurial minded nonprofit,” said Goodwill President & CEO Mark B. Boyd. “We collect, recycle, and sell donated items in our retail stores to fund mission-based programs that are available free of charge to the local community. I encourage the Egg Harbor Township community and beyond to open their hearts and closets to Goodwill to assist us in rebuilding store inventory,” he added.

The store is accepting Donations of clothing, accessories, toys, and many household items are encouraged.

You can drop any items off for donation here at the 97.3 ESPN Studios at 950 Tilton Road in Northfield and we will fill our 97.3 ESPN van and drive over the donations to help restock the Goodwill Store in EHT.
