Are the Sixers in a playoff race? Or are they better off in the lottery for another season?

The 76ers appear to have made the turn from Rebuilding team to Up and Coming team as they are 9-3 in the month of January and are now 4.5 games out of the number eight playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  While the recent winning excites many Philly Sports fans, there are those Sixers fans who are worried that this will take them out of range to get another elite prospect in the NBA Draft Lott

The NBA Trade Deadline this season is February 23rd at 3pm ET and the 76ers potentially have two players who could be moved: Centers Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel.  While Noel is in the final year of his Rookie Contract and is set to be a Restricted Free Agent, Okafor has played limited minutes this season and it has become painfully obvious he is not a fit for this team as the organization build

Since Nerlens Noel returned for the 76ers on December 11th the team is 5-7 overall as he is averaging 14.1 Minutes Per Game.  Meanwhile Jahlil Okafor is averaging 17.33 Minutes Per Game but he has not played in three of the last four games as the team is having trouble finding minutes for all three Big Men with Joel Embiid as the starter...

Despite three tough seasons for fans and a poor record to start this year, the Philadelphia Sixers finally have some hope

The log-jam between the Sixers big men might be muted for now, but Nerlens Noel is still the elephant in the room when it comes to the Sixers frontcourt.

Nerlens Noel participated in most of practice of the Sixers practice on Thursday, giving the illusion that he might be inching closer to a return to the team, but he sure didn't sound like a guy that was excited to make his season debut anytime soon.

Although the Sixers are 0-2, they won't be pressured to change their with for Joel Embiid's playing time.
