The Major league Baseball trade season is officially here and plenty of Phillies will have their name mentioned over the next month and a half before the July 31 deadline.

While opening day didn't quite go the way Cole Hamels would have liked, allowing four runs -- all on solo home runs -- in five innings, his name will continue to surface in trade talks between now and the July 31 deadline. However, after being limited to just 13 starts last season due to a flexor pronator strain in his elbow, Lee was back in Clearwater on the first day of Phillies pitchers and catchers and seemed ready to go.

For months we have been hearing Cole Hamels name in trade talks.

The Phillies' 2015 roster is still a work in progress, with the biggest need being, getting younger, someone who can provide some power and depth in their starting rotation.
