The Locker Room with Billy Schweim Crew hopes everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with Family and Friends.  Counting our blessings during the holiday season is important, they come in many ways.  The Eagles should also be counting theirs because they own the best record in the NFL at 9-1 but the wins have not been pretty.  Jalen Hurts didn’t play particularly well against the Chiefs on Monday Night with only 150 yards, Zero passing Touchdowns, and one interception.  A matter of fact the Chiefs outplayed the Eagles in almost every statistical category except for the turnovers and what's most important, the score.

The Eagles outscored the Chiefs 14-0 in the second half on Monday Night Football and Jalen Hurts has now won 13 straight regular season games versus teams with a .500 or better record.  Philadelphia is 31-9 when Jalen Hurts starts games and the Eagles Quarterback has either a passing or rushing touchdown in 25 straight games.  We will have plenty of Eagles talk this weekend!

The Flyers have won six of their last nine games before hosting the New York Rangers on Friday afternoon.  The Orange and Black have surprised many with a solid start to the season.  We will critique the Flyers efforts after the first 20 games, the quarter way mark of the 2023-24 NHL season.

The Sixers are 10-5 heading into the weekend after starting the season 8-1.  It’s a long NBA season and it’s too early to tell how Tyrese Maxey will handle his new role with the Sixers as opponents continue to make adjustments to the 76ers new style of play.  Despite the 76ers going 2-4 in their last six games, Maxey is still top ten in the NBA in Points Per Game (26.3), Assists Per Game (7.1), Three-Point Field Goal Percentage (43.4%), and number one in Minutes Played (38.4 MPG).

Plus don’t forget to come join us every Sunday throughout the Football season as we broadcast live from the Caesars Sports Book inside Tropicana Atlantic for our Eagles and NFL Sunday Pregame show!

All that and more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, tune in every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to Noon on 973 ESPN Radio South Jersey.
