It's not Michael Jordan and Vince Carter of years past, but it was close.

The NBA held it's annual Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night and one of it's players got robbed circa Andre Iguodala in 2006.

Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic had a one of best second place nights the dunk contest has ever seen and because of that Twitter went into a frenzy.

Gordon used his Magic mascot, Stuff the Magic Dragon, virtually all night to assist with dunks including the one posted below where he's seated midair before slamming it down. The mascot also used a hover board to assist in dunks with Gordon.

Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves eventually won the contest for the second consecutive year, but it was Gordon who stole the show on Saturday night.

Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors won the three point shooting contest.
