The 2023 high school football season continues with two of the top teams in South Jersey meeting up in Hammonton, as the Blue Devils (3-1) host the Mainland Mustangs (4-0) at 7pm.

The clock could be moving in this game, which features the two top rushers in the Cape-Atlantic League. Hammonton's Kenny Smith, leads the CAL area with 663 yards and seven scores, and Mainland's Stephen Ordille who is No. 2 in the area with 563 yards and has eight scores.

Hammonton quarterback Drew Craig has throw for 248 yards and three scores, while Mainland's John Franchini has tossed for 305 yards and two scores. Franchini looks for his favorite target Jamie Tyson, who has seven catches for 134 yards and one touchdown.

Mainland is one the top scoring team in the CAL area, scoring 35.0 points per game, and their defense ranks No. 1, giving up just 6.3 points per contest and just one rushing touchdown all season.
