All You Need To Know About Atlantic City, NJ Balls Out Block Party

The ultimate End-of-Summer Party is happening in Atlantic City featuring a one-of-a-kind Competitive Eating Contest, live music, Games for guests to win prizes, and the debut of the new Dining Experience at DraftKings Sportsbook inside Resorts Casino Hotel.

On Saturday, September 30th, Resorts Casino and Hotel in Atlantic City is hosting the Balls Out Block Party from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM featuring the the Cheesesteak Egg Roll Bowl eating competition.  Four of the top twelve ranked competitors from Major League Eating will be competing against eight other challengers to see who can consume the most Cheesesteak Egg Rolls in eight minutes.

The number one ranked competitive eater in the world, Joey Chestnut, will be going head-to-head with some of the top competitive eaters in the world starting at 1 pm on Saturday. Chestnut, who is the 16-time Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Champion, has some tough competition on September 30th.  Nick Wehry holds the world records for Hardboiled Eggs (50 eaten in 3 minutes and 4 seconds) and Pistachios (188 eaten in 8 Minutes) while Gideon Oji is the number six ranked eater holding world records for Baked Beans (10 Pounds Baked Beans eaten in 1 minute, 45 seconds) and Green Chile Stew (1.3125 gallons eaten in 6 minutes).

The Balls Out Block Party is more than just this unique competitive eating contest at 1 pm.  There will be live entertainment by Bacardi Ardi and Sidestory Cover Band plus those attending with a valid Resorts Star Card will be able to participate in a number of contests with over $1,000 in Slot Cash and DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Food Credit prizes up for grabs. You can participate in fun challenges including a 2-minute Football Drill, Football Accuracy, and Longest Football Throw plus a Mug Hoisting Contest.

Also on Saturday, September 30th will be the debut of the new Food Menu at DraftKings Sportsbook inside Resorts Atlantic City. There is a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 am where Guests are invited to be among the first people to check out this great upgrade to the customer experience at the DraftKings Sportsbook. This weekend will also have the debut of the new Halloween Pop-Up Bar at Resorts Atlantic City: The Boor Bar located at Bar One with have several drink specials including the Perfect Pink Cosmo.  All proceeds from the sales of the Perfect Pink Cosmo will go to benefit the American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink Campaign.
