Barnegat Hosting CAL vs. Shore Boys Basketball showcase in 2021
Barnegat High School Athletic Director John Germano has announced that his school plans to host a boys basketball showcase event on Jan. 9, 2021, that will feature teams from the Shore Conference taking on counterparts from the Cape-Atlantic League, similar to the format Mainland Regional girls basketball uses each year in its “War vs. The Shore” weekend showcase.
Games will begin at 10 a.m. and won’t conclude until the nightcap at 8:30 p.m., which features Wildwood Catholic vs. Marlboro. The one-day event features some interesting matchups, including Freehold Township vs. Egg Harbor Township, traditional Ocean County power Toms River North vs. Middle Township, Southern Regional vs. Millville, and host Barnegat taking on Mainland Regional.

Jan. 9, 2021 (Shore Conference teams are the home teams)
10am: Freehold Boro vs. ACIT
11:30am: Red Bank vs. Absegami
1pm: Howell vs. Cedar Creek
2:30pm: Freehold Township vs. Egg Harbor Township
4pm: Toms River North vs. Middle Township
5:30pm: Southern Regional vs. Millville
7pm: Barnegat vs. Mainland Regional
8:30pm: Marlboro vs. Wildwood Catholic
