Battle by The Bay Returns to Atlantic City High

One of the biggest events during the high school basketball season is this weekend as Atlantic City High school hosts the Battle by The Bay.

The three-day event features showcase games between various teams, from five different states in boys basketball.

Friday night features two of the best teams in the Cape Atlantic League when St. Augustine faces Atlantic City.

On Saturday Bridgeton represents the Cape and takes on Southern Regional from the Shore Conference.

The Battle by the Bay finale between Pleasantville and Atlantic City has become a Super Bowl Sunday tradition and is usually packed to capacity with fans.

The showdown between the AC Vikings Cheerleaders and the Pleasantville Greyhound cheerleaders is one of the must-see events of the high school basketball season.
