Breaking Down the Eagles 53-Man Roster: Defense

Yesterday, we broke down the Eagles offense and special teams and today we take a look at the defensive side of the ball on the 53-man roster.  The Eagles kept 24 players on offense and three special teamers, leaving room for 26 defensive players.

While the Eagles are known as a high flying, pass happy offensive team, their depth is better on the defensive side of the ball this year – thus the above numbers.  The Birds have one of the deepest, if not the deepest, defensive lines in the NFL and had tough decisions to make at cornerback as well.
