Buena Regional Wins a Brand New Field

It is with great pleasure that Townsquare Media, 97.3 ESPN, and Tuckahoe Turf Farms announce that the South Jersey school chosen to win a brand new field is... Buena Regional.

The guys at Tuckahoe have decided that Buena Regional is the most deserving of a new field. Of course, it was one particular nomination letter that solidified the decision. Among the dozens of letters we received, it was one written by current Buena student Mason Shuemate that stood out.

In the letter, Mason writes, "our school is really tight on money. We still use lockers made when the school was built in 1973 and after a storm it isn't unusual for the roof to leak." The letter also reads, "getting a new football field would draw more fans therefore increasing school spirit; which we take quite seriously at Buena Regional. I think a new football field at Buena Regional High School could really turn things around for a small group II school like us."
